Funeral services for Jackie Robert “Jack” Croft, 85, of Barnwell, SC will be held at one o’clock p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025, in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. He will be laid to rest beside his first wife, Blondeana Lovell Croft who passed away in 1967; a private graveside service will be held at the Blackville Cemetery.

Born in the Hilda Community, SC, he was a son of the late General Robert Lee Croft and Bertha Mae Black Croft. He attended Ashleigh Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman who was passionate about fishing. He loved to spend his days fishing off different bridges, creek “hopping” and loved fishing at Santee and Lake Cynthia. He was also a knife collector and loved trading vehicle titles.  He loved country music, watching westerns movies and was always ready to take a car ride, attend family gatherings for holidays and enjoyed fish fry events.  He was a carpenter most of his life and could fix, build, or repair most anything. He was a jack-of-all-trades and loved to “tinker”. He previously worked at the Savannah River Site, Holland Hitch, Barnwell Hospital, and Dayco. Jack loved his children, grands, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters, Sherry Renew (Daniel) of Taccoa, GA, Melissa Keisler (Billy Miller) of Irmo, SC and Tammy (Dale) Morris of Barnwell, SC; sons, Michael Croft of Taccoa, GA and Jeremy Croft (Lindsay) of Charleston, SC; sisters, Betty (Jimmy) Courtney of Columbia, SC, Faye (Billy) Cooper and Marie (Grady) Campbell all of Williston, SC and a brother, Samuel Jacob “Sammy” Croft of Olar, SC., 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
