Henry Martin Morris was born February 11th, 1948 in Orangeburg County to the late Monnie and Lula Bell Morris, Sr. and lived most his life in North Charleston, S.C. At 76 years old he was sent to his eternal home on January 29th, 2025.
He was a Private First Class Vietnam veteran in the U. S. Army where he received numerous medals and was a purple Heart recipient. Henry enjoyed life and traveling. He loved his family and his animals especially his dog Lucy. He enjoyed collecting and selling antiques. He was a good historian and entertained you for hours with stories.
He is survived by his six sisters and two brothers Virgie Craven of Ladson, Susie McCormick (Charles McCormick) of Summerville, Louise Ahlers (Chuck Ahlers) of Savannah, Georgia, Virginia Morris, Monnie Morris and Jimmy Morris all of North Charleston, Jean Morris Burd of Amelia Island, Florida, Lisa Morris Paul of Ladson and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents Monnie Morris, Sr. and Lula Bell Williams Morris he was preceded in death by two dear brothers Monroe Morris, Sr. And Mack A. Morris and a brother-in-law Marshall Craven.
Henry’s wishes were to be remembered with no formal services.
