Greg Williams

A Graveside Service for Gregory “Greg” Michael Williams, 64, of Holman’s Bridge, SC will be held at twelve o’clock noon, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Denmark Cemetery, Denmark, SC with the Reverend Jeffrey Ray officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery on Saturday, May 13th.

Born in Bamberg County, SC, he was a son of the late A. J. Williams and JoAnn Hightower Williams and was the widower of Anna Williamson Barnwell Williams. He was a pipefitter, boilermaker and an awesome welder; he retired as a welder and was a member of the Local Union #150 Boilermakers. Greg was a die-hard Alabama Fan, loved to golf with his brother, and loved spending time with his daughter, sons, and grandkids. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always lit up the room with his smile. He loved his siblings and is smiling again now that he is back with his sweetheart, Anna. He was a member of the Sojourner Campground of Holman’s Bridge.

Survivors include his daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Williams Grubbs; two step-sons, Jason (Sherry) Barnwell of Clover, SC and Jonathan (Brandy) Barnwell of Denmark, SC; his grandchildren, Madison Grubbs and C. J. Grubbs, Caleb, Austin, Lelan, and Gabe Barnwell; sisters, Sherry (Will) Davis and Wanda Williams; a brother, Don “Peanut” (Pam) Williams of Barnwell, SC.

In addition to his wife, Anna Williams, he was preceded in death by his brother, Reggie Williams.
