Greg Hutto

Gregory O’Neal “Greg” Hutto, 66, of Blackville, SC passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock p.m., Friday, January 2, 2026 at Hilda Southern Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hilda Southern Methodist Church, P.O. Box 69, Hilda, SC 29813.

Born in Barnwell, SC, he was the son of Gwendolyn Rowell “Gwen” Hutto and the late Shannon O’Neal “Neal” Hutto. He previously worked for Daniels Construction and was a handyman who did plumbing work, electrical work and building for different people, he was a jack-of-all trades and danced to his “own tune”.

Survivors include his mother, Gwen Hutto; a sister, Melanie Hutto Kemmerlin of Blackville, SC; nephews, Coley (Taylor) Kemmerlin, Steven (Breanna) Gifford, Jr. and Skyler Gifford; his aunt, Ann Waldrop of Columbia, SC along with a number of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Hutto Gifford and brothers-in-law, Steven Gifford, Sr.; Coley Smith “Smitty” Kemmerlin and a number of aunts and uncles.
