Glenda Doering, 69, of North Augusta, SC, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born on February 9, 1952 in Cassville, Missouri to the late Walter Edison Henry and Georgia Lorene Burnett Henry and was married to Terry Lee Doering, who she loved and supported for 49 years.
Glenda enjoyed swimming, researching genealogy, traveling, experiencing new places and just loving the outdoors. Glenda loved sports and enjoyed playing college volleyball, basketball and softball. She passionately loved her children and grandchildren and prayed for them daily. God’s word and Jesus was everything to her, and she supported a ministry which helped women and orphans.
Survivors include her loving husband Terry of the home; a son, Kurt (Jennifer) Doering of Sparta, TN; 2 daughters, Charity (David) Hodges of N. Augusta, SC and Kitzie (Joseph) Nelaturi of Franklin, IN; 10 grandchildren, Evelyn (IN), Ethan (IN), Gracie (TN), Kaelan (TN), Kylie (TN), Johanna (TN), Aspen (SC), Bentley (SC), Everett (SC), and Forrester (SC); 2 brothers, Glen Henry of Rogers, AR and Stan Henry of Pea Ridge, AR; 3 sisters, Jean Edens of Washburn, MO, Jo Ann Hall of Rogers, AR, and Kay Moore of Grandview, MO and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will sorely miss her.
In Addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Marcella Gundel.
The family will have a private service in Tennessee and then Glenda will be laid to rest at Roller Cemetery near Powell, MO. The family has asked that in Lieu of flowers that memorials be made to https://joycemeyer.org/handofhope/projectgrl.
