Funeral services for Kimberly Gladys Steed Sheppard, 77, of Williston, SC will be held at 11 o’clock a.m., Friday, November 22, 2024 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Don McCormick officiating; burial will be at two o’clock p.m., Friday, November 22, 2024 in the Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery, Hampton, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery Fund, c/o Donna Thames, 515 Hoover St. N, Hampton, SC 29924. Gladys passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
Born in New Ellenton, SC, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Franklin Steed, Sr. and Inez Stevenson Steed and was married to the late Sidney James Sheppard, Sr. She was of the Holiness Faith and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Ann (Guillermo) Munoz of Williston, SC; a son, Sidney James (Rebecca) Sheppard, Jr. of TN; a sister, Cathy Steed Still of Barnwell, SC; a brother, Johnny Franklin Steed, Jr. of Olar, SC; two grandsons, Matthew James Sheppard and Jason Michael Sheppard and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Sidney James Sheppard, Sr., she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eliza Ellen Cope, Mary Shealy, and Juanita Crosby and a brother, Jimmy Willie Steed.
