Freddie Dicks, Jr.

Freddie Dicks Jr., 78, of Williston, SC passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 4-6 p.m., at Folk Funeral Home in Williston, SC.

Born in Williston, SC he was a son of the later Freddie Dicks, Sr. and Claretha Dunbar Dicks. He was a member of Shrub Branch Baptist Church.  Freddie was a farmer.  He enjoyed being outdoors, he especially loved fishing and hunting.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Renee Dicks of Williston; sons, Freddie Lee (Lois) Dicks of White Pond and Marvin Dicks  of Williston, SC; sisters Jannie Mae (Herman) White of Williston, SC, Joyce Walker of Williston, SC, Janice Hosey of Springfield, SC, Inez Williams of Williston, SC, Sherrie Williams of Florence, SC, Blanchie Williams of Columbia, SC; brothers, George Edward (Brenda) Dicks of Williston, SC, Paul Williams of Williston, SC, Julius Williams of Greenwood, SC and Larry Dicks of Williston, SC; grandchildren, Fredrick, Antwan, Lakendra, Charnica, Shwanda and Marvin, Jr.; several great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A special friend Janie Mae Corbett.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Dicks; a son, Willie Dicks; and a brother-in-law Author Walker.
