Fred Jones Obituary

Frederick Robert “Fred” “Torque” Jones, 54, of Warrenville, SC passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born in Potsdam, NY, Fred was a son of Donna Mary LaBrake LaVack and the late Robert William Jones. He was a member of the Williston Church of God. He was a heavy equipment operator for over 30 years. Fred loved snakes and was known as a reptile rescuer. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, loved his family, and was always willing to help someone in need.

In addition to his mother, Donna LaVack of Delta, CO, survivors include his sister Celeste (Raymond) Waske, Jr. of Hotchkiss, CO; brothers Gregory Paul (Stacy) Jones of Williston, SC and Chris (Lori) Myers of Warrenville, SC; nieces and nephews, Nicole Waske, Trey (Megan) Waske, James O’Rourke, and Robert Jones; great nephews Landon Waske and Trevor Waske; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins along with many SC friends who he loved and thought of as family.
