Frances (Corley) Neeley

Funeral services for Frances Inez Corley Wood Neeley, 79, of Montmorenci, SC will be held at twelve o’clock noon, Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Windsor with the Reverend Tim Webb officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be given to the Neeley Family, P.O. Box 72, Montmorenci, SC 29839. Mrs. Neeley passed away on July 9, 2021.

Born in Graniteville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frank Corley and Lizzie Inez Prescott Corley and was first married to the late Johnny Wood, Jr. Frances has been a member of Spring Branch Baptist since she was 5 years old where she sang in the choir and served on the mission team. She was loved by her family, grandchildren and her dogs. Mrs. Neeley loved to plant flowers loved cooking for her family including her church family and she loved her snuff.

Survivors include her loving husband Eldean Neeley of the home; two daughters Janet Marie Wood and Julia Lynn Neeley both of Montmorenci; her sons Ronnie Leon (Brenda Lee) Wood of Montmorenci and Gene Ray (Sandra) Wood, Sr. of Windsor; grandchildren Ray Wood, Jr. and Angel Wood; a step-brother Lester Ray (Kathy) Taylor of Montmorenci and a nephew Perry Clarence Corley.

She was preceded in death by her brother Frank Corley, Jr.
