Funeral Services for Isaac Everon Collins, 94, of Hilda, South Carolina will be held at two o’clock p.m., Monday, March, 9, 2020 in the Hilda First Baptist Church with the Reverends Tony Carter and Ted Still officiating; burial will be held in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from five to seven p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Everon passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020.
Born in Barnwell County, SC he was a son of the late Howell Collins and Alma Still Collins. Everon was a member and Deacon at Hilda First Baptist Church and was involved with the Happy Fellowship Senior Group. He formerly worked as an auto mechanic at various Chevrolet dealerships, at Shuron as a maintenance mechanic, then retired from Allied General as a Guard and also enjoyed farming.
Survivors include his daughters; Linda Kaye (George) Wells and Karen (Andy) Bolen all of Barnwell; step-children Neal (Dot) Miles, Elaine Miles Turner, JoAnne Miles, Norma Jean Miles (Alan) Owens, and Ken Miles; his grandchildren; Derek (Rolanda) Bolen, Chad (Brandy) Bolen, Heather (Josh) Pierce and 7 great grandchildren, Harley, Hailee, Hayden, Anniston, Kintley, Dierks, and Wylie; sisters Betty Lee Sandifer and Gayle Gay; his brothers include his twin Luther Everette Collins and Theron Stanley Collins; a sister-in-law Linda Collins and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Miriam Creech Collins and his second wife Harriet Still Collins; a daughter, Sandra Delane Collins, brothers Achille Collins, Marvin “Bob” Collins, Joe Willard Collins, Everette “Cud” Collins, brother-in-law Rhett Sandifer and sisters-in-law Ruth Collins, Emily Collins, and Marie Collins.
