Funeral services for Everette Sanders, 61, of Barnwell, SC will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Timmy Gunnells officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church, 220 Green Branch Rd., Barnwell, SC 29817 or Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Everette passed away at home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Evan Blankenship, Garon Blankenship, Randy Miller, Harold Moors, Kelly Still and Taylor Still.
Born in Bamberg County, SC, he was a son of Delma Omega Chavis Sanders and the late Norman Everette Sanders. He attended Green Branch Pentecostal Holiness Church. Everette loved spending time fishing at the Combahee River and enjoyed going to the Farmer’s Market during watermelon season. He was a loving granddaddy “I-daddy” to his adoring grandchildren and cherished every minute that he got to spend with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, Connie Gunnells Sanders of the home; a daughter, Heather Sanders (Smiley); a son, Brent (Brittany) Sanders all of Barnwell, SC; his grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, and Noah Sutherland and Nolan and Creed Sanders; his brother, Mike Sanders of Olar, SC; his father and mother in law, Leighton and Sue Gunnells; brother-in-laws, Reverend Timmy (Teresa) Gunnells and Andy (Rev. Eileen) Gunnells all of Barnwell, SC; sister-in-law, Brenda (Barry) Blankenship of Barnwell, SC; nieces, Misty (Brad) Atkinson, Heaven Sanders and a number of Gunnells nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
