Eva Mae (Harter) Creech

A Graveside Funeral service for Eva Mae Harter Creech, 94, of Barnwell,  SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverends Harry Warren and Ted Still officiating. The family will receive friends after the service on Sunday. Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations, social distancing and other guidelines will be in place; facemasks are requested. Mrs. Eva Mae passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Born in Allendale County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Frampton Harter and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Holly Harter and was married to the late Coley Blease Creech, Sr. Mrs. Eva Mae was the last of 20 siblings. She was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU, sang in the church choir, was the church clerk and served on various other committees throughout the years. She retired as a Pharmacy Tech from Barnwell Drugs.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Coley B. and Donna Creech, Jr. of Barnwell; grandchildren Melissa C. (Kelly) Renfroe and Christopher (Sarah) Creech; great grandchildren Finley Clare Renfroe, Caleb Creech and Aiden Creech; along with many nieces and nephews.
