Eric Putnam Obituary

William Eric Putnam, 67, of Blackville, SC passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020. No formal services are planned at this time.

Born in Shelby, NC, he was a son of the late Clyde George Putnam, Jr. and Sedalia Mary Warren Putnam. He was a graduate of Blackville High School, attended USC, and retired as an optician. Eric loved the Carolina Gamecocks and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his sister Jayne Putnam Sparks of Blackville and his brother and sister-in-law Clyde G. (Vickie) Putnam, III of Florida; his best friend Robbie Wise and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Catherine Putnam Scott.
