Elizabeth "Libby" (Elkins) Faulkner

A Celebration of Life service for Janie Elizabeth “Libby”, 86, of Williston, SC will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Winfield Heights Baptist Church with the Reverend Jamie Wootten officiating. Libby passed away at home on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Gentiva Hospice as well as, nurses Christina Shealy and Pam Randolph for all of their kindness shown to Libby over the last few days.

Born in Barnwell County, SC she was a daughter of the late Freddie Anderson Elkins and Mary Olive Stevenson Elkins and was married to the late William Faulkner. She was a member of Winfield Heights Baptist Church. Libby enjoyed singing and playing the piano with her family and friends. She also enjoyed doing crafts and shopping.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Mike McMullen of Williston, SC; brothers, Gene Elkins of Healing Springs, SC and Jimmy (Denise) Elkins of Williston, SC; sisters, Myrtle Faglier of Barnwell, SC and Jeannette (Bob) Bomar of Williston, SC; a granddaughter, Jenifer (Heath) Gantt; great grandchildren, Bryce Gantt and Kamryn Gantt along with a number of special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and his wife, Freddie Alan (Mayblane) Elkins
