Edna M. “Boogie” Bozard, 88, of Springfield, SC passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026. Formal service details will be announced at a later date.
Born in Orangeburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harvey M. Brown and Grace Williams Brown and was married to the late B. W. Bozard. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was known for having a “giving spirit”, always willing to give and help others in any way possible. She was a kind person who was dependable, if you needed her she was right there for you. Boogie was fun to be around, a happy person and was always smiling.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her brother, Sammie Brown for his love and special care shown to Edna over the past years.
Survivors include her children, Jeffery (Michele) Davis, Angie (Don) Fowler and Billy Bozard all of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren, Michael (Savannah) Davis, Weston Davis, Denise Yelton, Jessica Hoover, Asiah Fowler and D. J. Fowler; numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Anita Gleaton and a brother, Sammie Brown.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Sidney Davis and three brothers, Mack Brown, Pedro Brown and Dooley Brown.
