Graveside Funeral Services for Edna Elizabeth McCormick Sellers, 84, of Olar, SC will be held at ten o’clock a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Charles Mosier officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Joyce Collins, 350 Collins Rd., Olar, SC 29843. Edna passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
Born in Bamberg County, SC, Edna was a daughter of the late Julius Marion McCormick, Sr. and Marva Lee Hair McCormick. She was married to the late Jack G. Sellers of Olar, SC for 51 years. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, Olar, SC. Edna enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her daughters Jackie Lynn (Terry) Lyons and Wanda Jean (Michael) Jennings all of Olar, SC; her granddaughter Krystle (Jervey) Chitty; great granddaughter Braylen Lee Chitty of Cope, SC; her sister Mary Adrienne (Scott) Kinard of Ehrhardt and her brother Jerry McCormick of Bamberg.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Emily Beard of Denmark, SC and Hazel Sunday of Olar, SC and her brothers Julius McCormick of Barnwell, SC and Claude McCormick of Olar, SC.
The Sellers family ask that you practice social distance during the service due to a rise in COVID cases.
