Earl Anderson

A Celebration of Life Service for Earl DeLeon Anderson, 72, of Williston, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with Mrs. Terrie Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle, #100 Columbia, SC 29210 or the Amedisys Hospice and Home Health, 204 University Parkway, Suite D-E, Aiken, SC 29801. Earl passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Born in Orangeburg, SC, he was a son of the late Carl S. Anderson, Sr. and Ruth Gwendolyn Moore Anderson. He retired from Savannah River Nuclear Solutions as a Maintenance Mechanic. He enjoyed cutting grass on his riding mower and enjoyed tending his garden. Earl also enjoyed riding his golf cart through town and visiting with others. Earl’s family and children were very important to him and he enjoyed every moment they were together. He was a US Marine Veteran having served 4 years including 2 tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Beth Miller Anderson of the home; a daughter, Tracie L. Anderson of Lexington; a son, Scott DeLeon Anderson of Williston; a sister, Teena A. (Ronnie) Renew of Barnwell; brothers, Carl S. “Brookie” (Glynn) Anderson, Jr. and Michael Norman Anderson all of Snelling; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins along with his fur babies Duck and “L.B.”, Little Bit.

He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allen Anderson.
