Duffie Dean Williams

Duffie Dean Williams, 63, of Hilda, SC passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at five o’clock p.m., Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Gateway Assembly of God with the Reverend Jamie Sheppard officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853.

Born in Bamberg County, SC, he was a son of the late Adam Duffie Williams and Betty Marzee Duncan Grubbs. He previously worked for the Town of Hilda in the Department of Public Works. He enjoyed tinkering and making crazy stuff.

Survivors include his step-father, O’Neal Grubbs; daughter, Angela (Rodney) Chavis; a son, Jamie (Esther) Stoltzfus; sisters, Bridgett Grubbs, RaNae Williams McDonald and Lana Williams Fogle; a brother, Mark Williams; grandchildren, Rodney Allen (Breanna) Chavis, Alexander (Josie) Chavis; Valarie (Justin) Blakenship and Davalion Stoltzfus; great grandchildren, Shelbi Chavis, Memphis Chavis, Nolan Chavis and Ivey Marzee Blankenship.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Eleanor Chavis and a niece, Krystal Garrick.
