Donna (LaFrance) Barringer

A Celebration of Life for Donna LaFrance Barringer, 62, of Denmark, SC will be held at one o’clock p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the family home with the Reverend Ben Langdale officiating. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle #100, Columbia, SC 29210.  Donna passed away at home on Monday, September 18, 2023.

Born in Orangeburg, SC she was a daughter of Hattie Cook LaFrance and the late George LaFrance and was married to the late Gary Wayne “Dudge” Barringer. Donna was a huge Carolina Gamecocks fan but, her passion was being around and spending time with her family. Donna had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Brandy (Jonathan) Barnwell of Denmark and Crystal “Christy” (Alpha) Baldé of Orangeburg, SC; her grandchildren, Corey Fischer, Alex Fischer, Hannah Fischer, Lelan Barnwell and Gabriel “Lil Dudge” Barnwell. two sisters, Rosemary “Rosie” French of St. Matthews, SC and Deborah Robinson of Cartersville, GA and a brother, Russell (Susan) LaFrance of Augusta, GA;

She was preceded in death by a brother Steven LaFrance.
