Don Carroll Pollard, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service for Don Carroll Pollard, Jr., 65, of Williston, SC (formerly of Bakersfield, CA) will be held at six o’clock p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Bert Baynham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Barnwell County Animal Shelter. Don passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Born in Boulder, CO, he was the son of the late Don Carroll Pollard, Sr. and Bonnie Louise Strong Pollard. He was self-employed for many years in the farming community of Buttonwillow, CA.  He loved hunting, golfing, and enjoyed watching old western T.V. shows and movies. Don loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Don was always willing to help lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years Bonnie Ailene Pelger Pollard of Williston, SC; children Amanda (Ryan) Randall of Bakersfield, CA, Milisa (David) Peachey of Williston, SC, Don (Diana) Pollard, III of Bakerfield, CA, Jestine “Becky” (Chris) Miller of Minot, ND; a sister Terri Lewis of Portland, OR; 11 grandchildren; Lauren, Olivia, Gunnar, Cale, Caroline, Teddy, Giuliana, Don “Baby D”, Skylar, Tobias and Finnley along with numerous nieces and nephews.
