Deloris Ruth (Miller) Gunnells

Graveside Funeral services for Deloris Ruth Miller Gunnells, 61, of Aiken, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Central Baptist Church Cemetery, 1652 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC. Memorial contributions may be sent to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. Deloris passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Born in Raleigh, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles Miller and Margaret Palmer Miller and was married to the late Dennis Allen Gunnells. She enjoyed going to Yard Sales and also enjoyed buying and selling at Flea Markets on Saturdays with her daughter. Deloris was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished every minute she spent with her family. Thanksgiving and Christmastime were her favorite times of the year. She had a kind and gentle spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Margaret Brunson (Nathaniel Bell) of Aiken; sons, Dennis Charles Gunnells and his fiancé, Amanda Joyce Watson and Michael Paul (Emily) Gunnells all of Aiken, SC; a sister, Melissa (Will) Garrison; grandchildren, Elijah Brunson, Evan Brunson, Jacob Stevenson, and Kelsey Lynn Gunnells.  

She was preceded in death by a sister, Pam Miller and a brother, Robert Miller.
