Delores (Pickett) Williams

Funeral services for Delores Marie Pickett Williams, 70, of Springfield, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Spring Branch Baptist Church, Windsor, SC with the Reverend Tim Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Delores passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

Born in Tazewell County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Junior Pickett and Gracie Bostick Pickett. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. She loved to do all crafty work especially sewing. She enjoyed making quilts and raffling them to help raise money for the church. Delores loved baking fruit cakes and she cherished her husband.

Survivors include her loving husband of the home, David Grayson Williams; sisters Elaine (Brad) Pyott of Tazewell, VA, Vivian Cilona of Avon Lake, OH; brothers David Pickett of Springfield, Larry Pickett of Springfield; Glen Pickett Bastian, VA and William Roger Pickett of New Orleans, LA; sister-in-law Mary W. Wooten of Barnwell; her niece Sonya Marie (Jake) Sullivan; great niece Mandy Sullivan; and additional nieces and nephews.
