Debora A Martin (Fail)

Debora Ann Martin (Fail), 59, of Barnwell, SC, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. A Memorial service will be held at three o’clock p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be sent to Barnwell County Animal Shelter, 57 Wall St., Barnwell, SC 29812.

Born in Augusta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Michael C. Martin and Janice Ameilla Morgan Martin. She loved to read and do crafts.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors taking care of her flowers and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Chasity (Ron) Sowell of Evans, GA; her son, Ramie (Karen) Gibbs of Williston, SC; grandchildren, Gavin O’Grady, Carson O’Grady, Saylor Jackson, and Keith Gibbs; a great granddaughter, Lily O’Grady; her long-time partner, Jason Bolen and his mother, Wanda Bolen both of Barnwell, SC; a sister, Charlene Davis; brothers, Vaughn (Faith) Martin and Spencer Powers and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-parents, Doris Lewis and Richard Powers; a sister, Linda Martin and a brother, Roy Martin.
