David Lewis Griffin

David Lewis Griffin of Elberton,40, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 5, 2023, due to a tragic accident.

David was born in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Benjamin and Carolyn Griffin. He was a happy and forgiving person. He always said yes to lending a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He enjoyed fixing cars and building dog houses.  David was a family man who loved his family fiercely. He was a protector to everyone he loved and cared for. He was a member of Iglesia Casa Del Alfarero.  David was preceded in death by his parents.

David is survived by his wife, Margarita Griffin; his stepchildren, Brenda Salazar, Brandon Salazar, and Vivian Salazar; His sister, Christina Martinez; His brothers, Dean Griffin, and Scott Griffin. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held at Iglesia Casa Del Alfarero of Elberton, Friday, August 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. There will be a time of visitation from 5:30 p.m. until the service time.
