Danny Glover

A Celebration of Life service for Danny “Dan” Glover, 64, of Denmark, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Denmark, SC with the Reverend June Still officiating. The family invites the rest of the family and friends to come out to JJ’s after the service for a time of fellowship. Dan passed away at home on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Born in Bamberg County, SC he was a son of the late Willie Glover and Emma Chavis Glover. He owned and operated his paint and body shop where he spent many hours working on vehicles. He love fishing and could always make “something” good out of “nothing”. Dan could always make you smile even if he was down and out himself.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Debra Butler Glover of the home; a daughter, Emma Lynne Glover and her fiancée Nicholas Black of Bamberg, SC; a son, Danny Ray Glover, Jr. of Denmark; his grandchildren, Jordan, Maycee, Ashton and Kyler; 2 great-grandchildren, Zaden and Moria; his sister, Donna (Ted) McAlhany of Bamberg; a sister-in-law, Teresa Glover of Bamberg and a number of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Glover, Jesse James Glover, James Glover and Frank Glover.
