Daniel "Pops" "Ticky" Fields

Daniel “Pops” “Ticky” Fields, 70, of Wagener, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 7234 Savannah Hwy., Neeses, SC 29164.

Born in Orangeburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Filmore Fields and Dorothy New Fields. He previously worked for Tally Corbett in Springfield, SC for a number of years and was also a self-employed brick mason and carpenter. Daniel also loved fishing and riding his bicycle.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica (Denny) Davis and Comey Leora Fields all of Orangeburg, SC; grandchildren, Brooke Davis, Torrane Davis and Tyler Davis; sisters, Annette Spires of Neeses, SC, Peggy Still of Hilda, SC, Ruby Mitchell of Blackville, SC and Elizabeth Collins of Hilda, SC; brothers, Archie Fields, Amos Fields and Vernon Fields all of Neeses; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
