Cynthia D. (Smith) Widener

Funeral services for Cynthia “Cindy” Darlene Widener, 60, of Windsor, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Tim Webb officiating; burial will follow in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Barwick, Daniel Forbes, Jason Kinard, Bill Smith, David Smith, and Robert Smith. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Cynthia passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

Born in Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of Alice Faye Bonnett Smith and the late Milton “Pete” Smith and was the widow of Ashley Widener. She previously worked as a cashier at the Windsor General Service Station and the Family Dollar in Williston.

Survivors include her mother Alice Faye Bonnett Smith (Dale Fulmer) of Windsor, SC; a daughter Lynn (Cecil) Ayers of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren Alyssa Ayers and Chase Ayers and her brother Jackie (Judy) Smith of Windsor, SC.

In addition to her father Pete, she was preceded in death by her sister Connie Kinard and her brothers Bobby Smith and Steven Smith.
