Funeral services for Coy S. Ringley, 72, of Windsor, SC will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Wendell Bruner officiating; burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, 4524 Whiskey Road Aiken, SC 29803. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home of Tuesday. Coy passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Born in Abingdon, VA, he was a son of the late Edward S. Ringley and Helen F. Richard and was the beloved husband of Carol S. Ringley. He was a Windsor resident for the past 30 years and previously lived in Tampa, FL for many years prior to moving to Windsor, SC. Coy was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a self-employed contractor, an avid NASCAR fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys football team.
Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Carol Ringley; his daughters, Carol Ann Newsome (Edward) of Gibson, GA, Bridget Liveley of Hephzibah, GA, and Angie Williams (Gerald) of Kitchings Mill, SC; sisters, Nancy Garner of Wagener, SC and Frances Giddens of FL; brothers, Leonard and Terry Ringley both of FL; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
