Cora Elizabeth Scott Barnwell of Williamston SC, passed away January 27, 2021. Born September 6, 1938 in Williston SC. She was the daughter of the late Inman and Elizabeth Carroll Scott. She was preceded in death by brothers John Lee, Dickie and Walter (Bub) Scott. She graduated Williston-Elko High School. She was a graduate of Anderson College with a degree in music and worked for Doctors Gullette, Rankin and Grubb. She retired from JC Penney of Anderson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pelzer SC.

She is survived by a daughter Amy Chapman (Brian) two granddaughters Jennifer Bigsby (Phillip) and Jamie Freemantle (Rick) and five great grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held; the Reverend Clint Sullens will be officiating.
