Claudine Hair Mitchell

Claudine Hair Mitchell, 80, of Williston, SC passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025 by her beloved family at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC.

From the very beginning, she brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of those around her. She was a devoted sister, a cherished aunt, and a compassionate person that loved her family.   Claudine had a gift of lighting up the room with her smile and loving nature. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, getting her nails done, and being the center of attention.  She was passionate about new clothing, jewelry, and being pampered by her loving sisters, brothers, nephews, and nieces.  Spending time with family was one of her most cherished memories and favorite life activities. She was loved, passionate about being with her family and family values, and spent her life being pampered by the people that loved her most.   Claudine is the wife of the late Ray Mitchell.  She was born to the late General Pershing Hair and Lottie Sanders Hair.

She is survived by her siblings Mary Ellen Cheek (John), Marie Grubbs, Eddie Hair, Ronnie Still, and Gloria (Terry Baxley), who will forever cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by brother’s Ricky Hair and Gary Hair, brother-in-law Marvin Grubbs, sisters-in-law Jeanette Hair and Cathy Still, nephews: Rocky Williams, Will Still and Gary Cheek.

Though she may be gone from our sight, she will never be gone from our hearts.
