Charles "Chuck" Schlins Obituary

Charles “Chuck” James Schlins, 53, of Williston, SC passed away on March 14, 2022. No formal services will be held at this time.

Born in Aiken County, SC, he was a son of the late Bettie Louise Odom Schlins Spitzer. He was a self-employed master carpenter and roofer; Chuck enjoyed fishing especially in the river.

Survivors include his daughters Kathryn Louise Schlins, Bettie Marie Schlins; a son Henry Everette Schlins; a sister Gena S. Ballard of Williston; brothers William Harris Hutto of Bamberg and William Eugene “Billy” Schlins of Orangeburg, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Michael Hutto.
