Charles Edward Williams, 75, of Williston, SC, passed away peacefully at his home on June 6, 2026.
Born in Miley, South Carolina, Charles was a son of the late Ernest Leroy Williams and Helen Kathren Cox Williams. He was a hardworking man who spent many years working in auto parts delivery for O’Reilly Auto Parts. He worked and managed Elko Grocery for many years. Charles was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, easygoing nature and he never met stranger.
A devoted fan of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and the Barnwell High School Warhorses, Charles rarely missed an opportunity to watch football and cheer on his favorite teams. His family and friends will remember him for his loyalty, sense of humor, and the friendships he cultivated over the years.
Charles attended St. John’s High School on Johns Island, South Carolina.
Survivors include a sister, Sandra (Jim) Brison of Brison, TN; a brother, James Leroy Williams of Harleyville, SC; and best friend/sister Mona Krogh of Windsor, SC.
He is predeceased in death by his parents, and brothers William Leroy Williams and David Williams.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Folk Funeral Home Chapel in Williston.
