Carolyn Jo (Posey) Bouchillon

Carolyn Jo Bouchillon, 74, of Barnwell, SC passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday, April 3, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be held at five o’clock p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Dan Fogle officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Barnwell County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1009, Barnwell, SC 29812.

She was a daughter of the late Russell Posey and Blanche Posey and was a devoted wife to her husband, John Belton Bouchillon. She was a Christian woman who was member of Rosemary Baptist Church. She previously worked for B & B Ford in car sales. She was a nurturer and caretaker who was always taking care of people, as well as animals.

Survivors include her daughter Cammy Moody; a son Rodney Moody; a sister Gail Rogers and numerous grands, great grands, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Anthony Moody and Brian Bouchillon; sisters, Lynda Smith and Joyce Matthews and brothers, Tommy Posey and Jack Posey.
