Cameron Ywain McCollum

Graveside service for Cameron Ywain McCollum, 33, will be held Thursday April 27, 2023, at 3 o’clock p.m. in the Salley Oakview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday April 26, 2023, at Folk Funeral Home in Williston. Cameron Ywain McCollum (My Peabody) February 2, 1990 to April 21, 2023.

    Cameron was born in Aiken, South Carolina. He was the son of Lesley Diane McCollum Rose and Ronnie Barfield of Greenville, SC. His sister Ariel Rose and her husband Justin Rose of Gallipolis, Ohio. His five beautiful children Bre’Niya McCollum Davis of Columbia, Ivionna McCollum, Cameron Ywain McCollum, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Roxzi McCollum, and Yzekiel McCollum of Allendale, SC. The mothers of his children Briania Alston, Latay Payne and Rodinesha Johnson. His sisters and brothers Wendy Barfield of Blackville, SC, Justin Barfield of Williston, SC, Caelin and Calista Barfield of Aiken, SC, Brandon Bias of Charlotte, NC. Cameron went to school in Columbia, SC. He graduated from Airport High School. He loved sports, but basketball was his favorite.

    Cameron is survived by five beautiful children. Bre’Niya McCollum Davis, Ivionna McCollum, Cameron Ywain McCollum, Roxzi McCollum, and Yzekiel McCollum, His loving and devoted mother Lesley McCullom and stepdad Terry Davis and the man that raised him Christopher M. Rose. His maternal grandparents Diane Williams and Leslie McCollum. His paternal grandparents Nettie and Johnny Williams of Elko. His special Aunt Wendy and Uncle Dickie Widener, Uncles Kenny McCollum, Chris McCollum, Johnny McCollum, Tammy Roviscanec, Rami Hunt, Maria Parker, Ryanne McCue, and John McCue, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
