CWO3 Patrick Lane Corley USCG Ret.

A Memorial Service for CWO3 Patrick Lane Corley USCG Ret., 87 of Williston, SC will be held at four o’clock p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2024 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with Military Honors Accorded. The family will receive friends from three o’clock p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. The family has asked that memorials be made to the US Coast Guard Alumni Association, www.cgaalumni.org. Patrick passed away at home on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Born in Pelion, SC he was a son of the late Odell Corley and Avis Wynona Gunter Corley and was married to the late Maxine Fesik Corley. Mr. Corley started his career in the US Army and after 4 years he transferred to the US Coast Guard where he later retired as an Electronics Technician. After his retirement, he went back to school and received his LPN degree and work several more years in the nursing field. He enjoyed traveling the country with his beloved wife of 62 years and they loved to support their grandkids by attending their sporting events.

He is survived by two daughters, Patricia Corley Metheny (Craig Chevrier) of Windsor, SC and Virginia Corley (Mark) Burgess of Jacksonville, Fl.;  his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas (Kami) Augustine, Casandra Kosnechski, Nicholas Gilder, Mirandie (Seth) Mathis, Jimmy Brandon Payne and John Raymond Maximiek, Sr.; great-grandchildren, Thomas Payne, Payton Payne, Jaxon Augustine, Nathanial Augustine and John Raymond Maximiek, Jr.; two sisters, Ann Norton and Faye Hunter; brothers, Blair (Kathy) Corley, Larry (Caroline) Corley, Karl (Linda) Corley and Roy Corley; his nieces and nephews, Bud (Sherri) Norton, Terry (Claire) Norton, Lisa Hunter, Danny Hunter, Jr., Heather (Ray) Crumpton, Dell (Kyra) Corley, Carroll (Nicole) Corley and Karla Corley.  

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lauren Augustine Payne.
