Bryan Keith Long

A Celebration of Life Service for Bryan Keith Long, 55 of Barnwell, SC will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverends Ken Dodson and Cliff Creech officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. Bryan passed away at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The family has asked that Memorials be made to New Harvest Outreach Ministries, P.O. Box 13, Barnwell, SC 29812.

Bryan was born in Valdosta, GA and was a son of the late Kenneth A. Long. He lived all over the world during his young age because of having a dad in the US Air Force. He graduated from Desert High School in California then later received his Master’s Degree. He was a Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons fan. He loved 70’s – 80’s rock roll music, spending time with his family and he loved his dogs, especially Chewee. Bryan was one of the founding members of New Harvest Outreach Ministries in Barnwell and loved all of his church family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Sherry Baxley Long of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Brent Cook of North Augusta, SC; his grandson, Tate; a sister, Lisa (Gregg) Adams of York, SC; a brother, Steven Groover of Indiana; his brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Aerial Baxley of Barnwell, SC; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gene and Sarah Baxley; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, McKayla, Ashlyn, Noah, Coltin and Emily along with  numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Long and his brother, Matthew Groover.
