Bobby Ray Parrish, 75, of Springfield, SC passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at two o ‘clock p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one-thirty p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Opp, AL, he was a son of the late Orie E. Parrish and Lessie Olene Thaggard Parrish. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Lithia, FL. He previously worked as a heavy equipment motor rewinder at “TAW” Tampa Armature Works, Tampa, FL until his retirement. He loved to fish, enjoyed watching Westerns on T.V. and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved people and always enjoyed a good laugh and was quite a character who loved picking on and playing with people. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Doris “Dotty” Inez Westmoreland Parrish; his daughter, Tina Parrish Capron (Frank Lauria) of Wesley Chapel, FL; his son Bobby (Jessica) Parrish, II of Brownsville, KY; his grandchildren, Lauren Capron, Logan Capron, Lilly Capron, Emily Parrish, Amanda Parrish and Ali Smith; a sister-in-law, Denise Guy; two brothers-in-law, Terry (Theresa) Westmoreland and Charles (Debbie) Westmoreland along with an abundance of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Brenda Moran, Weider Hall and Faye Kirk and his brothers, Jack H. Parrish and Paul Parrish.
