Funeral services for Betty Angaline Grubbs Still, 79, of Barnwell, SC will be held at three o’clock p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with the Reverends Harry Warren and Farrell Ray officiating; burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Monday, February 3rd at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Mrs. Still passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Born in Barnwell County, SC, she was a daughter of the late David Grubbs and Estelle Darnell Grubbs. She was first married to the late Laurie Hair and was the widow of Callie B. “C.B.” Still. She was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Padgett of Blackville; three sons Weston Dennis Hair, Ronnie (Lucinda) Still, and Larry (Shannon) Still all of Barnwell; a sister Barbara Ann Jones of Hilda, two brothers Sammie Grubbs of Blackville and Wayne (Bonnie) Grubbs of Barnwell; grandchildren Malissa (David) Justice, Janet (Lamar) Still, Shawn Padgett, Ashley Padgett, Eric (Emily) Jennings, Blake (Taylor) Owens, Angela Still, Joshua (Starra) Still, Meagan (Dennis) Bell, Hunter Still, Emmily Still and Jaycen Still; 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death her grandson Little David Lamar Justice, her granddaughter Malaysia Nichole Joyner, a sister Margie Joyner and a son-in-law Willie McCloud.
