Betty Ruth Traylor Knotts, 92, Aiken, SC formerly of Williston, SC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 surrounded by her family. A Graveside Funeral service will be held at two o’clock p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Williston Cemetery with the Reverend Jimmy Hanf officiating. The family will receive friends at the Williston Cemetery after the service.
Born in Fairfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Cleveland Traylor and Fannie Louise Feaster Traylor. She was first married to Thomas Edward Boulware and was the widow of William Earl “Bill” Knotts, Jr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williston where she served on numerous committees and was a member of the WMU. She was previously a member of the Ivy Garden Club and she formerly owned Williston Mini Storage and Properties.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Steve Bellamy of Aiken, SC; her grandson, Bryan (Kim) Bellamy; great grandchildren, Miette Neal (Angel) Salas, Job Bellamy, Chasten, Beau, and Olivia Bellamy; a great, great grandson, August Salas Benavides along with a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Bill Knotts, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Edward Boulware and a grandson, John Devon Bellamy.
