Annette Carroll Cole, 84, of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Funeral services will be held at one o’clock p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Joseph Sanders officiating; burial will follow in the Ashleigh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Born in Elko, SC, she was a daughter of the late Arlie O’Bryant Carroll and Annie Lou Morris Carroll and was married to the late George Richard Cole for 30 years. After marrying. She lived in Trenton, New Jersey for many years before returning to South Carolina and living in Rock Hill for the last 40 plus years. Her daughter Mindy shared her home with her and she was able to travel as she always wanted. Annette loved her family and was a wonderful mom to her children and a great friend to those who knew her. She loved reading and spent hours consuming books each week.
Family was extremely important to her and she loved spending time with her mom, Annie and her siblings before her mom passed in 2015. Her dad, Arlie meant the world to her.
She enjoyed researching her family tree and was a member of the daughter’s of the American revolution. Annette loved life and always saw the best in everything. She was loved greatly and will be missed. Life will not be the same without her.
Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly Ann (Danny) Henderson of Chesnee, SC, Mindy Melissia Cole of Rock Hill, SC, and Candace Amber Cole (James Clark) of Mullins, SC; sisters, Faye Wayne (John) Kassing of Columbia, SC, Sherry Jean Graham of Goose Creek, SC, and Jill Pamela (Jerry) Williams of Harlem, GA; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Worthington Carroll of Iron Station, NC; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, George Richard Cole, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Richard Cole; a brother, Arlie O’Bryant Carroll, and a brother-in-law, Robert Graham.
