Anita (Binder) Hair

Anita Binder Hair, 73, of Denmark, SC passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. No formal services will be held. Monetary donations may be given to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Denmark, SC 29042.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Adolph Binder and Florence Cohen. She was of the Jewish faith and was married to Carl A. Hair for 55 years. She made Denmark, SC her home for most of her life and was a secretary in the Blackville Public School System for many years. She loved scrapbooking and making small keepsakes and mementos. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Anita loved her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She also loved her pets especially her Shih Tzu, Buttercup.

In addition to her husband, Carl A. Hair, survivors include her daughter-in-law, Alyssa Lyons Hair; granddaughters, Hannah Hair (Kade) and Haley Hair all of Smoaks, SC; great grandchildren Rivers Grantham and Kyler Grantham both of Smoaks, SC; a sister, Rhoda (Walter) Barry of Atlanta, GA and a brother, Erick (Karen) Binder of Atlanta, GA.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Hair; 2 brothers, Raymond Binder and Bruce Binder.
