Angela (Burns) Holcomb

Angela Burns Holcomb, 52, of Aiken, SC passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023. A private service will be held.

Born in Allendale County, SC, she was the daughter of William Earl Burns and Joanne Weeks Burns. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a graduate of Orangeburg Technical School with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She also previously attended USC-Aiken. Angela worked in the medical field for a number of years and also worked as a traveling nurse. During her career, she worked in Allendale, Barnwell, and Aiken Counties. She was an avid gamecock fan who loved sports and animals; she would often rescue animals who were in need of attention. Angela adored her children and grandchildren and she loved every minute that she got to spend with them.

In addition to her parents, William and Joanne Burns; survivors include her daughter, Jessica  Delaney (Joshua) Holcomb-Boone of Valdosta, GA; a son, Matthew Kurtis Holcomb of Germany; a brother, William (Teresa) Burns of Cayce, SC; grandchildren, Emory Boone, Everly Boone, Easton Boone, and Ellison Boone and her grandmother, Betty Weeks of White Pond, SC.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, T. W. Weeks, Dell Burns Sanders, Leonard C. Burns Sr., Wilson H. Sanders; and a son, Marion Kyle Holcomb.
