Funeral services for Shep Andrew “Andy” Lott, 70 of Williston, SC will be held at eleven o’clock a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Doug Blaikie and Dr. Beth Yarborough officiating; burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery with Masonic Rites Accorded. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., on Tuesday, July 9th at the funeral home. Members of the Hope Lodge # 126 will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hope Lodge # 126, P.O. Box 53, Williston, SC 29853. Andy passed away at home on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
Born in Orangeburg, SC he was the son of the late Shep Lott, Jr. and Evelyn Garvin Lott. Andy was a member of the Williston Presbyterian Church and was a proud member of Hope Lodge # 126 for 48 years. He served as Worshipful Master for four terms, Secretary for eight years and coached over 30 men who later became Masons. Andy was a life-time farmer and always enjoyed being out on the farm and worked for the Town of Williston as the Water Superintendent for several years before his retirement.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Roxanne Cheek Lott of the home; a son, Bradley Andrew (Cleo) Lott of Jesup, GA; daughter, Kellie Lott (Stewart) Carroll of Barnwell, SC; grandchildren, Bryson Thomas Mallard, Arrena Marie Lott, Harlie Anne Carroll, and Finn Aubrey Carroll; a nephew, Robbie (Karen) McAlhaney; sisters-in-law, Marvelia Wallace, Billie (Randy) Dobson, and Lynn (Phil) Hair, along with a number of nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Lott McAlhaney Oliver.
