Alice Virginia (Handley) Teeter

Funeral services for Alice Virginia Teeter, 76, of Aiken, SC will be held one pm Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with burial at the Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from six to eight pm Monday September 24, 2018 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the National Fabry Disease Foundation NC Office, P.O. Box 1325, Carrboro, NC 27510. Mrs. Teeter passed away Thursday September 20, 2018.

Born in Niles, MI, she was a daughter of the late Arthur John Handley and Virginia Theresa Wechnerowski Handley and was the widow of Robert Lavere Teeter, Sr. She loved playing Bingo, enjoyed traveling and assisting in numerous capacities with the Montmorenci Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include her daughter Robin (Rex) Fergison of Niles, Michigan; sons Robert (Kelle) Teeter, Jr., Corey Teeter (April Moulten) and Carey (Wanda) Teeter, all of Aiken, SC; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister Mary (George) Polly; brothers Arthur John (Pat) Handley, Jr., Leonard (Fay) Handley all of Niles, Michigan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Angie Marie (James) Bowers.
