Alice (Tindle) Bagby

Alice Marie Tindle Bagby, 75, of Williston, SC passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022. No formal services will be held at this time.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, she was a daughter of the late Chester Tindle and Adella Hasquet Tindle and was married to James Christopher Bagby. She had several degrees which include RN, BSBA, MSN, CBA, BS in Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville, and Shriners Hospital in Greenville. She retired from DHEC in Anderson as a supervisor where she was instrumental in helping to organize the Nurse Family Partnership.

Survivors include her husband, James C. Babgy; daughters Catherine “Cathy” Estrella of Fountain Inn, SC and Ann Marie Babgy of Taylors, SC; her sisters Janet Ripper of Cold Springs, TX and Patty Hollister of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren Ashley Marie Babgy and Lisette Pelar Estrella; two great grandchildren Donavin Christopher Bagby and Romi Adele Cox and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Carol Tindle and her brother James Tindle.
