Funeral Services for Adam Brantley Lawrimore 34, of Barnwell, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Reverend Charles Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery with US Army rites accorded. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Tunnels to Towers 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306. Adam passed away at home on Thursday August 22, 2024.
Born in Aiken County, SC he was the son of James Blackwood Lawrimore and Eletha Myers Lawrimore. Adam was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran having served in Iraq and in Haiti after the earthquake. He received a Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Metal and numerous other Metals. Adam loved to fish, ride motorcycles and his most favorite thing was hanging out with his son, Nathan.
Survivors include his son, Nathan Lawrimore; parents James and Eletha Lawrimore of Barnwell; his birth mother, Tammy (Richard) Wilson of Barnwell; brothers, Daniel (Heather) Singletary of Williston, Michael Douglas Jackson of Barnwell and Joseph Patrick Long of Barnwell; grandmother, Jeanette Knight of Barnwell and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by cousins Michael, Eddie and Jonathan Myers and grandparents Jim and Betty Rourke and Buster and Glenette Lawrimore.
