Will Frederick

Funeral services for Philip William “Will” Frederick, III, 23, of York, SC formerly of Williston, SC, will be held at three o’clock p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Williston First Baptist Church, Williston, SC with Dr. Stephen Burnette officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one-thirty p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at seven p.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Lifeway Church, York, SC. Memorial contributions may be given in Will’s memory to Lifeway Church Children’s Ministry, 114 S. Congress St., York, SC 29745 or Williston First Baptist Church Elevator Fund, P.O. Box 366, Williston, SC  29853. Will passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of Philip William Frederick, Jr. and Reneé Matthews Frederick and was married to Hannah Wren Crews Frederick. Will was a 2013 graduate of Williston-Elko High School and a 2016 graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in Industrial Maintenance. He was a member of Lifeway Church in York, SC where he was involved with the Children’s Ministry and the Security Team. Will worked as a maintenance technician at Southeastern Nonwovens in Clover, SC and previously worked for C & C NAPA Auto Parts in Williston.

Survivors include his wife Hannah Frederick of the home, parents Bill and Reneé Frederick of Williston; his sister Lauren (Jason) Byars; paternal grandparents Phil and Jean Frederick, maternal grandparents Elsie and Ches Lyon; aunts Carol (Tim) Bolen, Donna (Marty) Martin; uncle Eddie (Cyndi) Matthews; nephews Eli, Austin and Jackson; cousins Grant Bolen, Reid Bolen, Natalie Bolen, Myles McIntrye, Jaime Bush, Cory Bush, Patrick Matthews, Nick Matthews, Blake (Grace) Matthews, Jesse (Michelle) Matthews; mother and father-in-law Robyn and Mark Crews; brother-in-law Clay Crews. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Donald M. Matthews.
