Surrounded by his family, Tullie passed away peacefully at his home in Edgefield, South Carolina on August 27, 2019. Born January 3, 1952 in Baton Rouge, Tullie honorably served with Baton Rouge City Police Department and other law enforcement agencies for 26 years. He was a proud American that enjoyed protecting and serving his community. He was a man's man, who loved this country dearly, a true patriot. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, reloading ammo, playing pool, and throwing darts. He was known for his love for his children and his infectious laughter. One of his greatest loves was his dog, Caesar.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Tullie Otis Vincent and Laura Bell Jackson Vincent of Livingston, La and brother Donald Vincent of Prairieville, La.
He is survived by his 4 children: Joseph Vincent (and wife Krystal) of Prairieville, La., Van Eric Vincent, Misty Vincent, and Micah Vincent of Edgefield, South Carolina, and Kyle McGee of Fort Myers, Florida. He is survived by his sister Eileen Vincent of Baton Rouge and brother Jerry Vincent of Apple Valley, California. He also is survived by his grandchildren: Dakota, Eden, Madison, Hayleigh, and Gracie Vincent.
A service will held Sunday September 8, 2019 at Folk Funeral Home, 170 Elko Street Williston, South Carolina. Visitation begins at 4 pm. Memorial Service begins at 5 pm.
