Funeral Services for Terrell Hayne “Terry” Dyches, Jr., 65, of Hilda, SC will be held 2:00 o’clock p.m. Monday, August 19, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with Dr. Thomas Terry and Reverend Ken Frederick officiating; burial will at Barnwell Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. The family has asked that memorials be given in memory of Terry to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215. Terry passed away Friday, August 16, 2019.

Born in Bamberg S.C. he was the son of the late Terrell Hayne Dyches, Sr. and Sara McElhenny Dyches. Terry was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He retired from the Savanah River Site where he worked for the United States Department of Energy as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Blackville, SC.  

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty-seven years Phylis Gibson Dyches of the home; daughters Rachel Dyches of Johns Creek, Ga., Emily Dyches of Columbia, SC.; mother-in-law Mary Martin Gibson of Blackville; sisters Diane (Tim) Kmiecik of North Augusta, SC, Dawn King of Aiken and a nephew Nick Kmiecik.
