Reba Gunnells (Zissett) Hutson

Reba Zissett Gunnells Hutson, 85, of Barnwell, SC, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2019. Funeral services will be held at eleven a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2019 at George’s Creek Baptist Church with the Reverends Ted Still and Timmy Gunnells officiating; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Wednesday, October 2^nd at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Born in Bamberg County, she was a daughter of the late Bennie and Odell Tant Zissett. She was first married to the late Dan Roosevelt Gunnells for 27 years and was a widower of the late John “Boot” Hutson having been married for 21 years. She was a homemaker, loved to fish, and bake goodies for everyone.

Survivors include a daughter Rosie (Donald) Gindlesberger of Barnwell; three sons Donnie Gunnells, John “JD” (Joyce) Gunnells of Barnwell, Wallace Gunnells of Olar; six grandchildren Brandy Zorn, Patsy (Charlie) Elledge, Dan (Kathleeen) Gunnells, Leroy Gunnells, Amber (Charles) McGee, Bradley Gunnells; five great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren and her special four-legged companion Frisco.

She was predeceased by her brothers James Zissett, Sheldon Zissett, and a sister Fateral Mae Zissett of Olar, and a special daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Gunnells.
